ABOUT US

The White Crane Karate School has been established in North London for over 40 years under the direction of Steve Duffy 7th Dan Black Belt. The style of Karate taught at our school is called Goju-Ryu. We are the only representatives in the UK of the famous Grandmaster Katsutoshi Ishihara, one of the highest ranked Goju-ryu Karatedo teachers in the world. He is the President of the World Shoseikan Karate-Do (WSK) and the White Crane Karate School is affiliated to this organisation in Japan. Teachers from the Japan HQ sometimes come over to teach our junior and senior members.

Through the continuous practice and development of the traditional Goju-Ryu system, adults can get a great mind and body workout and release the stresses of daily life, whilst children can enjoy developing their confidence, discipline and co-ordination. Both senior and junior members can also participate in the competition side of Karatedo if they wish.

Our Instructors are insured, enhanced DRB checked and first-aid trained.
